Ukraine: (Re) Introduction to Humanitarian Principles and ICRC/IFRC Code of Conduct

We are conducting a one day introduction / refresher course for new employees.

If you are an NGO based in Ukraine, you are welcome to load your staff onto the course.

Numbers may be limited and we operate on a first come first served basis. However a maximum of 4 from and one NGO please.

The Training and Instruction is the official syllabus covering:

  • The Code of Conduct for the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO's) in Disaster Relief
  • The core Humanitarian PrinciplesHumanity, Humanitarian Imperative, Impartiality, Independence and Neutrality.
  • The Acceptance Approach to NGO Security Management(as well as an (Re)Introduction to the NGO Safety and Security Triangle)

This is the third such course we have run and forms the fundamental basis of understanding from which every NGO employee should operate.

To be held in Kiev on the 17th November 2015 in English. Translators are welcome for none English speakers.

The training is free. Please note that all costs for travel and accommodation are borne by, and the sole responsibility of, the attendee.
